The restaurant is down a long parking lot down to the lake. Kind of a marshy part of the lake so the gnats were thick. We chose to ate inside. I ate a steak, which was incredible. My wife had the lobster ravioli which she enjoyed. My son was thrilled that they had real calamari rings instead of the calamari steak strips that every other restaurant has in town. Good food and s decent window view of the lake.
Food was exceptional, went back and enjoyed dinner there the next night. Great service.

We've been to Santana & Mavericks five times in the last three months and each time we knew why we keep coming back. The greeting, the VIEW, the attentiveness, the high standard of food, and the beautiful presentation. The first time I ordered the Salmon dinner and it was perfect. Then I had the Garlic Grilled Shrimp salad and it was so good I ordered it the next visit as well. After that I tried the Fajita salad and it was pure heaven. The fifth visit I ordered the salmon salad. It was all amazing. We love going early to be comfortable on the patio and to look out at the lake. It's perfect for us. Lake view, great food, friendly service. A few of the times Santana was our server and he is a gem. We will be back. I hope they get heaters for the patio for colder days.
Service is wonderful. Cocktails delicious. Hubby ordered 10oz NY steak. I ordered a pizza and a side salad (I've been craving a pizza). Hubby loved his steak and fixings. My pizza was so good. Our server was Jedith, she was fantastic! They have nice variety on their menu too. They also offer 10% off the bill if you pay with cash.
Husband and I have not been here for a month. In Coronado and Rancho Mirage. Celebrating my husband's 76th birthday. Have dined here three times now and think Santana us the best of the best!

The view was nice and the capped mushrooms were delicious! My partner and I enjoyed our pasta dishes and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful.
Unfortunately, the cocktails were a bit of a let down, but overall we had a model Tom experience.
